How it works
Pick a story. We draw your family into it.
A real person checks every page. Then you read the whole book and approve it, or leave notes. It prints only when we both say yes.
- 8.5 x 8.5 inch hardcover, 32 pages
- Up to 6 people and pets
- Digital edition included

Our First Camping Trip

Our First Camping Trip
Five steps
Two approvals before anything prints.
Ours comes first, page by page. Yours comes second, for the whole book.
- 1
Choose a story
Pick the one you want to read together at bedtime.
- 2
Add your family
Up to 6 people and pets, from a few everyday photos. You approve how we draw each one before any page is painted.
- 3
We draw it, and a person checks every page
Every page is drawn with your family in it. A real person looks at each one and fixes anything that is off.
We approve - 4
You approve, or leave notes
Read the whole book on your phone or computer. Leave a note on any page, and we fix it and send it back to you.
You approve - 5
It prints when we both say yes
After you approve, we give the print file one last look and send it to the printer. Printing takes 3 to 5 business days, then it ships to your door.
We approveYou approve
A note sends that page back to us. We fix it, approve it again, and the book comes back to you.
The proof
One story, two families.
The same pages of Our First Camping Trip, drawn for two different families. Same lake, same tent, their own people.

The words change too.
Kai’s family has one more grown up, so page 11 has one more shadow bunny. Names, he and she, and the count all follow your family.
Page 11, Amara’s family
Mom made one next, just like his.
Then Amara.
Three bunnies in a row,
and one more with a floppy ear,
for somebody hiding
at the bottom of the sleeping bags.
Page 11, Kai’s family
Dad made one next, just like hers.
Then Mom.
Then Kai.
Four bunnies in a row,
and one more with a floppy ear,
for somebody hiding
at the bottom of the sleeping bags.
Just your child Coming soon
Some stories star only your child.
In The Monster Who Was Afraid of You, the little monster under the bed, the mayor and Pim are the same in every book. Your child is the one who changes.

Every family and child on this page is made up, drawn from a written description, to show you how it works. We never show a customer’s family.
Your family, in a book they will keep.
Start with a story. You will see every page before it prints.
